Who are we?

Project E.A.C.H. (Enhancing Arab Communication in Health) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to equipping students and healthcare professionals with practical Arabic medical language skills. We deliver a range of courses and workshops designed to teach and reinforce common medical phrases and terminology in Arabic. Our mission is to provide a clear, creative, and accessible learning platform that empowers users to communicate effectively in clinical settings.

Purpose

Our purpose is to remove language barriers between Arabic-speaking patients and the healthcare system by giving healthcare professionals, aspiring medical translators, and pre-health students free, practical tools to learn medical Arabic. Communication in the patient’s language is not optional—it directly affects diagnosis accuracy, adherence to treatment, patient safety, and long-term health outcomes. Equipping clinicians and medical communicators with Arabic medical vocabulary, culturally appropriate phrasing, and listening/interpretation skills reduces misunderstandings that lead to medical errors, improves informed consent and shared decision-making, and increases medication adherence and follow-up care.
